Fun and Focused Language Support!

Our Therapeutic Camps are one-week intensives designed to support young children with a variety of communication needs in a fun, play-based environment. Each camp offers an immersive experience, blending specialized speech therapy with engaging group activities.

Whether your child is building expressive or receptive language skills, or using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) to support their communication, our camps provide targeted support to help them thrive. With a focus on language development, social interaction, and caregiver education, these camps offer a unique opportunity for growth in a nurturing setting.

AAC INTENSIVE

Our AAC Intensive is designed for preschool children who receive AAC support for their communication skills (IEP, individual speech therapy, etc). This week-long intensive program will target AAC skills, early literacy, and collaborative play within a group context as well as focusing on caregiver education.

During the week, we will be focusing on learning and practicing communication partner strategies to support children who are using AAC. Parents will have the opportunity to practice modeling in and how to support their children build their language using AAC as well as support their early literacy skills.

LANGUAGE INTENSIVE

Our Language Intensive is designed for toddlers and early preschoolers with receptive language and/or expressive language delays, as well as delayed gestalt language learners. This week-long intensive program will immerse your little one in a fun, play-based, language rich environment to help expand their language and communication.

Each day, we will be focusing on increasing the receptive and expressive language skills of our participants. This happens both in individual mini-sessions with an SLP and in the larger group setting during structured and unstructured play. A mixture of direct teaching, passive modeling, and play-based activities will help support the children in developing these skills.

TESTIMONIALS

A.M.

My son and I love Talk Time’s playgroups! It’s great to meet other kids outside and participate in crafts and activities that I didn’t have to plan or clean-up! After a long few years inside during COVID this is a great opportunity for us to socialize in a friendly and welcoming environment.

MEGAN S.

My 15mo absolutely loves the Littles Explorers Playgroup! He has a speech delay and in addition to him having a blast each week, I have noticed a significant improvement in his speech and social skills since finding Talk Time Boston.

KELLY C.

My 2 year old loves going to playgroup and has really thrived from it! She's not in daycare so I like it for the social aspect - she was very reserved when we started going but has really blossomed and become very verbal now. Both Alessandra and Nicole are so engaging and enthusiastic, and we look forward to going each week!
