Talk Time provides services to children from birth to adolescence. We work with families to provide a treatment plan that is meaningful, measurable, and master-able! Our evidence-based approaches for young children stem from both clinical research and clinical expertise including parent coaching models, child-led therapy, hybrid approaches, and routines-based intervention. For older children, we work closely with families for home carryover in addition to encouraging intrinsic motivation for progress. We also work on building self-advocacy skills, compensatory strategies, and higher-level language and literacy skills that are crucial as kids continue through later schooling.

 

We also are passionate about educating and empowering families. We run educational community events, therapeutic camps, and playgroups for children ranging from ages 1-7.

General Job Responsibilities

​

  • Exhibiting the clinical knowledge and clinical skills necessary to provide speech language pathology services across a variety of profiles and ages.

    • Completing evaluations and documentation in a timely manner

    • Establishing a plan of care with individualized, functional, and objective goals

    • Designing and implementing treatment programs with consideration of the client's diagnosis and environment

    • Performing all therapeutic tasks with consideration to ethics and accessibility

  • Educating, collaborating, and communicating with clients, colleagues, professionals and caregivers

  • Opportunities to run language-rich playgroups, provide parent education, and run therapeutic camps

  • Opportunities to write blog posts and build our brand through social media

Qualifications

​

  • Graduate of an approved master's level program in speech-language pathology

  • Valid/current professional license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts OR a new graduate looking to complete their Clinical Fellowship 

  • Ability to travel by car to home and school locations near Arlington, MA

  • Must pass background checks and provide professional references

We are currently looking to expand our practice to include occupational therapy services. This is a rare opportunity to create and lead OT programming from scratch in a well-established practice, collaborating closely with our SLP team while working independently.

We are seeking a confident, experienced clinician who can independently manage clinical decision-making, design innovative programming, and build OT services that meet the unique needs of our clients and families.​ Our team values creativity, evidence-based practice, and interdisciplinary collaboration. We provide administrative support (intake, scheduling, billing) so you can focus on providing high-quality clinical care.​​

General Job Responsibilities

  • Client Scheduling: Optimize staff schedules across a variety of locations and client needs, edit schedule as needed to accommodate changes. Familiarity with SimplePractice preferred.

  • Billing & Insurance Support: Managing service and diagnostic codes on our EMR, create and edit superbills to accommodate family needs, and handle out-of-network/private pay insurance questions and processes for families

  • Client Communication: Respond to intake inquiries, follow up with families, and coordinate scheduling for onboarding

  • Expense & Office Management: Categorize expenses, assist with ordering, and handle general admin duties

 

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2 years in administrative work or a clinically-related field, familiarity with computer software systems (e.g., slack, EMR, airtable, excel)

  • Skills: Strong organizational abilities, time management skills, excellent interpersonal skills, proactive problem-solving, and willingness to learn in a growing practice.

  • Attributes: A detail-oriented approach and exceptional communication skills
