  • What is a super bill?
    A super bill is an itemized receipt provided after therapy sessions, detailing the services received. Families can submit it to their insurance provider for potential reimbursement. While not a guarantee of coverage, a super bill helps clients who pay out of pocket access insurance benefits.
  • Are your services reimbursable through insurance?
    Yes, both programs include individualized treatment plans, which are often reimbursable by insurance.

  • What’s the main differences between SPOT, Navigators, and Explorers?
    Little Explorers (Ages 1-3): Focused on free play and exploration, this group introduces young children to structured activities through songs, stories, and sensory play. It’s perfect for those who thrive in a less-structured environment. Little Navigators (Ages 4-6): Offers more structured activities, emphasizing social communication, teamwork, and turn-taking through guided play and group tasks. SPOT Groups (Ages 3-6): Co-led by an SLP and OT, this group combines communication and motor skill development, catering to children with diverse needs for a well-rounded experience.
  • Will the groups have the same kids and facilitators?
    Each group typically has its own set of kids and a unique facilitator, providing a experience that is tailored to the needs of the specific group.
  • Do the groups attract kids with different profiles?
    Yes, our groups welcome children with diverse communication and developmental profiles to create a supportive, inclusive environment.
  • Do parents attend the sessions with their kids?
    Parent participation depends on the specific group. Some involve parents directly, while others allow parents to wait nearby.
  • How many kids are signed up so far?
    Group sizes are kept small and are capped to ensure a personalized experience for each child. Rest assured, your child will be part of a well-balanced and supportive environment!
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    If you sign up and need to cancel, please contact us to discuss options. We aim to accommodate families within our policies whenever possible.
  • Who leads these programs?
    The Therapeutic Language Group is led by SLP Kendra Hennegen, and the Therapeutic Social Camp is led by SLP Julia Zackular.
